It seems like after the era of Demonetization, everyone has taken a hit and the entertainment Industry isn't unaffected either. With TV shows getting cancelled like rapid fire and going off air, the situation is coming at an alarming end. With more and more TV shows flopping, many producers have no option left than to bring web series which requires lesser money and resources. Everyone knows how Life OK went off air after a string of flop shows so much so that it had to renew into a new channel and it didn't even continue the band of its successful shows from the earlier programming Ghulaam and May I Come in Madam?
Star Desh/Bharat has recently launched and going by the news, the reports of their newly launched TV shows is not very good. No show from the current lot has gained any hold on the ratings. Coming to another setback Star India's another 'used to be' popular Channel V has taken another hit. The channel which cancelled its youth tv programming and went back to its music mode seems to have fallen again. The channel is forced to show re-runs of their popular TV shows like Swim Team and now even showing movies.
If that was not all, All social media pages of the Channel on Facebook Twitter and Instagram have been discontinued since June 2017. Take a look at their last posts :

If you can check out the channel has discontinued posting anything new and it seems like they are showing re-runs of their popular shows. Rumours are rife that the channel shall go off air based on very low ratings. If that happens Star India shall suffer a huge setback as Channel V has been really popular channel for them since quite a while now..but in the era of competition where you can hardly survive this may not be a surprise.
