Top Reasons why you should watch Simran !

There are many reasons why you should watch Kangana Ranaut's Simran not just because everyone is telling you but there are a lot more other reasons why you should give this breezy film a shot this weekend and make it a success at all costs. Simran directed by Hansal Mehta is an unconventional story of a Gujarati woman named Praful Patel played by Kangana Ranaut. The music of the film has been well received however not as successful as Queen. The film is made on a limited budget and eyeing on good word of mouth. There are many reasons why you shouldn't miss this gem of a film and certainly all the unnecessary controversies have nothing to do with it. Here are top reasons from our side why you must watch Simran.

Kangana Ranaut : Let's face it. Film Industry has never seen an actress like Kangana. She is perhaps the only 'unconventional' actress who has found the real acceptance from the public. When we talk about superstars only the male dominated names comes to our mind and they feature in most 'run of the mill' films and so their co-actresses. But Kangana is in her own league and she is a star. Which is not easy in this Industry. She is a content driven actress who believes in delivering. Even in the worst films she had put life and soul. Kangana deserves every applause as an artist. We are here to pay for her work for her screen and she does that amazingly that's all matters.

Simran has Queen Vibes : When you watch a naughty Kangana giggling and jumping in Simran Trailer. You know it does give you some vibes from the movie Queen. And Queen was something everyone loved. So how are you not going for Simran if there's another wonderful story to tell and on top of it..Kangana Ranaut is telling it. Go ahead..nothing can stop you...it's a bang for every buck of yours and Kangana is at top of her game.

Based on a True Story : Simran is based on a true life of Sandeep Kaur who was called Bombshell Bandit. 'Simran is filled with humor however the woman on which this story is based on - her life was a complete mess but it was inspirational enough for the makers to have an idea to incorporate in a film so wonderfully. I think its unfair to talk about the story in the open. So we would just say that you must find out yourself what actually happens to the character. And a true life story shall connect with you well.

Kangana as a Writer : After Queen, Kangana is back as a contributor and got additional credits as a writer for Simran. We don't need to tell how brilliant she helped to shape up Rani's character in Queen. And if the charisma is back for Simran. You know...yes you know it is going to be an absolute delight. Go and Have a blast. She will not disappoint.

Support Good Cinema : Simran is helmed by director Hansal Mehta who has given movies like Aligarh and Shahid and we don't need to speak more. The fact is itself amazing that he managed to get Kangana for an unconventional story on board which is itself appreciable. You know you are going for good.

At the end these reasons do not matter..what matters is your own feel, own instinct..chances are that it will enable you to hit theaters again and again to enjoy Simran..and we pray it happens. #Simran

Nobody bares his soul to publicize a film - Prahalad Kakkar on Kangana

While the industry and people are divided over Kangana's explosive comments on Bollywood and Hrithik Roshan. Ad Guru Prahlad Kakkar has come to defense in Kangana's side. Prahlad was present at Kangana's Interview with Barkha Dutt where she bared her soul out. While many celebrities have called out 'Kangana's move' to seek attention for the promotion of her upcoming film 'Simran', Kakkar has a different take to the story. According to an exclusive interview given to entertainment website Spotboye, Kakkar has supported Kangana's guts and admired her courage to break the norms of bollywood. Some excerpts of the Interview :

What did you think of Kangana Ranaut when she exploded in Barkha Dutt's interview? You were present there...

Yes, I was a privy to that interview. Well, Kangana had an opinion and she expressed it. The industry is trying to sideline Kangana, but she is refusing to be silenced. She is clearly sending out a message: Kya ukhad loge mera? I am a great actress. I have proved my talent. What you might do consequently does not matter to me. Don't want me to cast in your film? No problem, I have my set of financers who will back me.

Kangana is going ballistic on her comments against Hrithik Roshan...
Hrithik sued her in court. That set her on fire. According to Hrithik, she is a psycho. That set her on fire. But it is possible. It can happen that one gets delusional in the movie world. However, one thing is certain: Kangana is a fabulous actress who has made it totally on her own. In our industry, mostly kisi na kisika sar par haath hota hi hai.

Oh, she is such a gutsy woman, not scared of anybody, achche achche jhuk jaate hain. colleagues in industry can be very vindictive if they want. Look at what happened to Shiny Ahuja, and mind you life is very tough in Bollywood if you are an outsider. Hats off to Kangana for holding her nerve and standing up without flinching an eyebrow.

Sussanne Khan rose in Hrithik's defence and called Kangana as 'Evil'...
That's because she is Hrithik's former wife. Natural hai na?

Do you think that Kangana's outbursts are a strategy to promote her upcoming film, Simran?
Nobody bares his soul and makes a display of his/her personal life for publicising a film. Kangana has been a star after Queen and she does not need any validation. A lot of people in the industry admire her guts but will never come out in the open because they're not ready to take on the bigwigs.

What is your gut feeling? Did Kangana and Hrithik indeed have a scene?
Of course they had one, and the industry knows about it. Yeh sab hota rehta hai. People move on.

But Kangana hasn't...
Of course, she has. It is just that she is terribly upset and hurt as Hrithik was out to prove that she is mentally unstable. Anyway, I don't think that she will ever take Hrithik back now.

This is what Kangana Ranaut’s father has to say about her bold confession of being an “unwanted child”

After National Award winning actress Kangana Ranaut made a bold confession that she was the “unwanted child” in her family, her father has opened up about the “backward” thinking about girls in their village. He says the “Queen” star’s birth was not a “celebration” in their house.
Amardeep Ranaut, who stays in Himachal Pradesh, opened up about his daughter Kangana’s latest statement, and told IANS: “When she was born, that time the atmosphere in our village about a girl child was very backward. It was not like a celebration, but it was more like a funeral.
“The villagers used to come to our house and say, ‘Oh, now a daughter again’. So, there was no celebration, nor did we distribute sweets. We were hoping that since we had lost our son, another son would come back.
The actress, who has delivered critically acclaimed and commercially successful films one after the other in Bollywood, just earlier this week opened up about her ordeal as a girl child in her family. She had even spoken about a male child that her parents had before having her elder sister Rangoli, but he had died within 10 days of his birth.

While Rangoli’s birth was celebrated, the same was not the case when Kangana came into the world. However, with her success story, the actress has proved naysayers wrong, and has time and again supported women empowerment.
She has even stood by the side of her sister Rangoli, an acid attack survivor, who now works with Kangana as her manager. Together, they have both appeared on the latest cover of a magazine.

Talking about her sister, Rangoli said: “When Kangana was born, there was no joy and celebration. I remember when she was born, our relatives used to come at our place and call her by a word, which in ‘pahadi’ means unwanted. She was so sensitive that these things influenced her. Things have still not changed there (in our birthplace), and that’s why we are supporting this cause (of girl child).”
