OMG!! KRK swears to beat Sidharth Malhotra black and blue

OMG!! KRK swears to beat Sidharth Malhotra black and blue

Sidharth Malhotra's befitted comments to KRK for his comments on Alia Bhatt's bikini shoot didn't go well with him. Here is how he reacted.

KRK sidharth

Controversy’s favourite child Kamaal Rashid Khan knows how to stay in limelight all the times. Be it his sleazy comments on some bollywood actress or his reviews on films, he ensures to grab headlines every time. This time again, the self-claimed-to-fame star attracted wrath of Sidharth Malhotra after passing some shady comments on Alia Bhatt’s bikini shoot for Vogue cover. Looks like, KRK didn’t have enough and needs more from the media this time.Sidharth’s reply to KRK on his comment on Alia Bhatt didn’t go well with the latter. It seems he is in no mood to let go the Kapoor & Sons actor easy way at least this time. Adding spark to the already heated argument, the Deshdrohi actor stated that he can easily hire manager like Sidharth and that too 15 like him.

In an interaction with a leading daily, Kamaal R Khan lashed out at the B-town hottie saying that he has no existence at all. “Sidharth is a non-entity. Uski itni badi aukat nahin hai ki KRK usko pictures bheje. He’s on my contact list and I may have sent my film reviews to him, but nothing else. And I dare him to show any picture sent by me. It would certainly be there in his chat history,” said KRK.

He was so irked with the Student Of The year actor that he couldn’t withhold his anger. He further added, “He was miffed because I made a comment on Alia Bhatt’s picture in a bikini. Since Alia is like a daughter to me, I just said that she was looking childish in a bikini and she must not wear it. That bugged Sidharth. I know people do get carried away in love. But, one must not go mad.”

Well, we wonder if someone makes such statement on any lady, whom they consider as their daughter. KRK, you need to think twice before making such declaration in front of the media. Co-incidentally, KRK had a pivotal role in Sidharth’s blockbuster Ek Villain, which also turned out to be an important film for their careers. While Sidharth’s tough side as an actor was revealed, KRK got a chance to revive his acting career once again. However, KRK also mentioned that, “I have better things to do than morph the pictures and send them to losers like Sidharth. I have 13 business ventures and I can hire 15 managers like Sidharth Malhotra. I can assure you after three movies, Sidharth will become like Jimmy Shergill. I kept quiet till now because I respect and adore his mentor Karan Johar. But I’m so angry with Sidharth’s silly comments that I have sent a message to KJO and told him that I will beat his protege black and blue if he rubs me the wrong way one more time.”

Well, we wonder if KJo has enough time to answer calls or revert to messages from none other than KRK. What do you think guys? Is KRK upto something big now?

Sushant Singh breaks off with YRF !

Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput has decided to cut off all professional ties with India's biggest production house, Yash Raj Films.

The actor has worked earlier in 'Shuddh Desi Romance' and 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!'.  The reason why things turned sour between Sushant Singh and YRF, goes way back to the time when the actor was supposed to play the lead role in Shekhar Kapoor's dream project 'Paani', which had to be postponed as YRF backed out from producing it and the director had to start his search from scratch, this time for international buyers for the film, since 'Paani' involves huge money.
Due to the dates clashing with his YRF project, the actor had earlier had to let go off Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-leela', which went on to Ranveer Singh.

What seemed like the crumbling point is that Aditya Chopra had promised Sushant the lead role in his much talked about project 'Befikre', but apparently the role has been bagged by Ranveer Singh. Sushant, however, claims to be clueless about it!
"Adi had promised Sushant 'Befikre' and then gave it to Ranveer without informing the SDR actor. This upset him and he decided not to associate with YRF anymore," revealed an insider, according to reports in a leading daily.

"Sushant is no longer a part of our talent team. We wish him all the best in future endeavours," confirmed a YRF spokesperson, with the leading daily.

Stand up Comedians that made their way into our hearts and lost somewhere

Stand-up is a simple business – just a man or a woman with a microphone and something funny to say. Is that as simple as we say it? I have often heard that this job is the hardest in the world, not because they have to do the job of Barack Obama or Narendra Modi, but this is considered as the most difficult of the performance arts. Why? Because with comedy, people know what they like. Nobody in history has ever walked out of a stand-up show saying, “That guy was hilarious, but I didn’t laugh.”
The modern stand-up scene in India is only six years old, so comics and audiences are learning together. But this doesn’t mean that crowds don’t know what they like ‐ that comes naturally. Comedy speaks; humor listens. However, the scene in India vs. America is night and day ‐ and that’s not just because of the time difference. AM I RIGHT, PEOPLE?!
Lets take a look at the the stand-up comedians who were once heartthrob of the India.
1. Raju Shrivastav

Raju Shrivastav often credited as Gajodhar, came into limelight because of the comedy talent show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” where he finished as runner-up. He was a participant in “Big Boss season 3”. Later news came that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party fielded Srivastava from Kanpur in the 2014 Lok Sabha election. But Raju returned the ticket, saying he was not getting enough support from the local units of the party. After that he joined “Bharatiya Janata Party”.
2. Sunil Pal
Sunil Pal a former Tea Vendor from Santa Cruz came to stardom when he won the “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” in 2005. Lately he has been seen acting in many bollywood flicks doing minor roles. In 2010, he also wrote and directed a comedy film Bhavnao Ko Samjho, which featured a record 51 stand-up comedians. Last he appeared in “Kick” as a cameo with Salman Khan.
3. Ahsaan Qureshi
Ahsaan Qureshi has been a stage performer in last 20 years. He was the runner up for “The Great Indian Laughter challenge” in 2005. Most of Jokes are focussed on political satire and social issues. He has been seen acting in Bollywood movies for instance Bombay to Goa, Ek Paheli Leela. Qureshi was also contestant for “Bigg Boss -season 2”. Lately news came that he has participated election campaigns in Uttar-Pradesh.
4. Navin Prabhakar
Navin Prabhakar a commerce graduate, singer, actor and stand-up comedian is most known for his Pehchan Kaun (Mumbai bar girl) act on “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”. Subsequently he also hosted a mimicry and stand-up show “Hello Kaun? Pehchaan Kaun”. He has done voiceover for famous song Dhagala lagli kala. Last he was seen in Phata Poster Nikla Hero starring Shahid Kapoor.
5. Sudesh Lehri

Why did Sony Pal scrap re-runs of 'Left Right Left'

The television world is acting pretty strangely these days, Now a days we hear news of TV shows being axed more than their launching. Competition is making every channel restless and if this is not enough, there are various strategies taken by channels that puts the viewers into delusional mode. Such a channel is Sony Pal. Sony Pal recently launched re-runs of their popular Soap 'Left Right Left' which used to air around 7 years ago on their sister network SAB channel. The re-run was well received and giving quite an amazing chunk of ratings to the channel but suddenly the channel has now stopped its re-runs all of a sudden. We wonder what could have happened?

Left Right Left was about six disoriented cadets coming from various walks of life to find their way in the heart of the Indian Army and seeking a change within themselves. Although the central character of the show was Naina Singh Ahluwalia (Priyanka Bassi) A rebillious vengeance filled sister who joins Kanchanjanga Military Academy to find out about the evil doers that put her brother to 'Traitor' Zone. The only support from the Academy that she gets officially is Captain Rajveer Shekhawat (Rajeev Khandelwal) who happens to be the Best friend of her Brother Navin (Samir Sharma).

The show offered an ensembled cast of youngsters like Kunal Kapoor, Vikas Manaktala, Gazal Rai, Harshad Chopra and Arjun Bijlani. With Rajeev's histronics and brilliant acting by the Youngsters made the show a runaway hit. But it lost its charm later like all other daily dramas. We can't blame much. Anyways the show deserve an applause to try something different and refreshing on TV. And viewers were really happy when their once favourite show finally made a comeback.

But the channel seems to have dashed the hopes of loyal fans. At this point, it's hard to assume if the channel would bring back the re-runs of the show or not. We can only hope that it atleast makes a complete run and end the disappointment. Hope the creatives of Sony Pal are listening.

Frieda Pinto Charged up after receiving compliment from Hrithik

Freida Pinto: Hrithik's compliment for my film heartwarming

Freida Pinto's days are never normal or routine. Besides her yoga workouts and some meals, nothing else runs to a pattern. "I sleep strange, I work odd hours and am constantly planning and putting together new ideas. I love the craziness, but I also crave abnormal days, when all I'm doing is lying in bed or soaking in a hot tub and eating sushi," she admits.

However, there's no time to chill now with her dream project, Girl Rising, taking off. The idea is to use moving stories to sensitise people not just to realities but also a need to be a part of the change. "I see this project as a beginning -of awakening, of change, of a movement that will be so inspirational that we will end up having many takers, supporters and volunteers by the time we're ready for phase two," she asserts. Freida admits that they're in talks with key change drivers and policy makers to ensure their ground work bears fruit on a larger scale.

The Prime Minister has aligned the vision with his national campaign, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Frieda who met Narendra Modi during her last visit to India, says he suggested they launch on August 29, as Raksha Bandhan is a meaningful day. "Like us, he believes in the power of good storytelling," she says.

That trip to the Capital also sparked off talks of a music video and an international single with singer-composer Vishal Dadlani next year. Freida laughs, "You've got a few things right and a few things wrong....Vishal, music, next year, are all correct...The rest I cannot reveal yet."

The actress, who shot to fame with the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire, is equally evasive about her personal life. She grabbed headlines when pictures of her pole dancing outside a pub on her birthday, Siddharth Mallya looking on, leaked online. Bring it up and she says, "There is nothing to comment on really." She also refuses to talk about her break-up with Dev Patel, insisting that she has never spoken about her personal life. "So unfortunately this time is no different," she retorts.

Meanwhile, Trishna, was supposed to release early this year in India but didn't. Buzz is, she was unhappy with the Indian cut and the promotional campaign, which portrayed it as a semi-porn film."Let's just say that I'm happy the film is on Itunes and Netflix. I'm sure those who would like to watch it have a legal way of accessing it," she maintains.

In Bollywood, she loves the work Richa Chadha is doing."She's smart, intelligent and incredibly talented. A lethal combo,"Freida asserts.

She had once stated that she was unable to find roles in a hero-centric Hindi cinema. But today, she is happy to see films that are not just alternative but also that these women-centric stories are getting such phenomenal backing and setups. "I'm open to and excited about working in Indian films with a global appeal," she asserts.

Has she ever felt inferior or discriminated against, particularly in the film studios? "On the contrary I'm proud to have not only been given the opportunity to break barriers but also the credibility and a recognisable launch to execute it successfully," she says. "Gender bias exists without a doubt, but we also have enough and more women who are flagbearers of standing their own ground and creating a space for themselves, like Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett."

Speaking about opportunities on the basis of skin tone, she points out that you can't be expected to be cast in a film with an all-Japanese cast. One has to be realistic, aware of one's appeal and ability. "But for every three stereotypical roles, there is at least one good, wholesome, satisfying one too," avers Freida, who enjoys the challenge of changing the game."It makes work interesting everyday, even if some days get frustrating. I've become adept at adopting a positive, fighter like approach."

Freida has some interesting films coming up, like Blunt Force Trauma and Knight Of Cups, also featuring Christian Bale and Natalie Portman. She says, "In the first I play Colt, the female lead. And this may sound weird, but I haven't seen the latter yet. I actually don't always like watching my films. Also, a Terrence Malick film is hard to describe with word limits, it's a detailed experience. Christian was a brilliant co-star, I learnt a lot from observing him."

There's also lot of curiosity about Jungle Book: Origins. "This is the part where I say ...Patience!" she laughs. "I'm excited for Jungle Book as should everyone else. This is going to be epic!" Her recent Twitter conversation with Hrithik Roshan made news for days until she replied to his tweet. Any chance of seeing them together on screen? "Hrithik's compliment for my film, Desert Dancer, and my performance was heartwarming. Receiving such kind words from an artiste and performer like him inspires me to do better," she says. "I don't know him well so I can't comment on our rapport. But as an artiste, there will always be shared respect and encouragement for each others' work."

She's heartened by the support from Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Parineeti Chopra, Nandita Das and Sushmita Sen and promises that they'll collaborate more. "I've always believed in collaboration as opposed to creating change singularly. Going solo is usually never successful, it is terrible leadership."
