Do you know what Parth Samthaan's new project is all about?

MTV Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan fame Parth Samthaan aka Manik, a star among the youth will soon make his debut on the silver screen.

Producer Subhash Singh is all set to roll his next film, a comedy, which will star Parth and Shahid Kapoor’s sister Sanah Kapoor as leads.

Sanah’s parents, Pankaj and Supriya Pathak, and her aunt Ratna Pathak Shah will also play important parts in the movie.

Worst Film of the year goes to - ?

Our bollywood is known for giving more solid chunky crappy movies than good ones. 2015 hasn't been an exception. We are just two movies away from bidding adieu to 2015. We need to wait whether Bajirao Mastani or Dilwale makes to this list or not. As for now we have our list ready for the worst films of the year and we would like to know from our readers about their choices.

1. Tevar : Arjun Kapoor attempted an Ishaqzaade with same body, similar expessions and the same rugged smile of his...and failed miserably. The film was considerably a waste of money and time both.

2. Alone - Bipasha Basu, her twin evil self, Karan Grover and basically no plot. The film definitely wins a nomination in the worst film category.

3. Khamoshiyan - No one really knows if this film was horror or a suspense fare. Only you need is patience to go through a torturous ride like this. Oh ! we also heard the makers signed the lead cast for three movies in a series like a franchise. God save us please.

.4 MSG - The Messenger : The biggest achievement of this film is that it got a release in theatres and guess what had a sequel too. Rest we don't have much energy to write about this epic gem

5. Hey Bro : Dude Ganesh Acharya ! Please spare Acting, we are comfortable with you off the camera teaching dancing moves to actors.

6. Ek Paheli LeeLa : The only thing people remember about this film is the dialogue where Sunny Leone repeatedly pats her chest and says 'Leela naam hai mara...Leela'

7. Mr X : Emraan Hasmi dons a superhero avatar for this movie by becoming invisible. However, the audiences too wore the similar avatar in the theatres in the response against the film.

8. Brothers : Seriously, can anyone please tell us what was the purpose of this film. It's rightly said that you need 'akal' to 'nakal' a movie. This one failed miserably and righfully so.

9. Phantom : Imagine Katrina picking up a gun and fighting the bad guys. Even the thought would bring chills on your mind. Add  a lousy and a horrible cardboard Saif Ali Khan to it and you get a recipe of a perfect disaster.

10. Hero : The film was a remake of Subhash Ghai's film of the similar name and story. Despite Salman bhai's powerful promotions. It sank without a trace and it proves that  content has a lot to do with grabbing eyeballs. Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi weren't impressive either.

11. Katti Batti  Kangana restored our faith in watching actresses in poweful and meaningful roles. But what went wrong with this film? Well she did it on salman's insistence, you got your lesson Kangy ! Stick to yourself otherwise you too would fall just like you co-star Imran did, after an impressive innings.

12. Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo : The film guarantees you sleep. So if in case, you are suffering from a sleeping disorder and haven't slept for a while, Do buy a ticket and enjoy sleeping.

13. Hate Story 3 : This is a perfect example that you need a plot to make a movie unless it sells. Any nonsense, illogical stuff is likely to work if marketed in a sharp way. Kudos !

Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan popularly known as KYY as well all know is about to bid adieu leaving many fans in tears. The show has been a ratings topper for a while now and was always in news for various reasons. The most popularly being Parth Samthaan (Manik) and Niti Taylor (Nandini) on and off screen chemistry. Despite not really getting along offscreen, the couple did manage to set the screen on fire leaving their differences aside. Also the supporting stellar cast like Veebha Anand, Charlie Chauhan, Ayaz Ahmed also added to the fuel of spark. The fab 5 became quite of a rage. Sources revealed that the show still had potential to run for some more time, however the cast of the show is not really keen to take it forward. However, we would like to know from our readers about that one reason which will make them miss KYY the most. what's that one reason that they don't want the show to being closed down.

Which Channel V show needs to make a comeback !

Channel V, the youth programming fiction channel has been giving us some really valuable youth shows since long. with Sadda Haq and Swim Team running strongly, they are keeping up with a good pace. However, the channel in the past has brought a very good chunk of shows that we really miss. Some of the shows went on to become channel drivers as well. In the era of torturing daily dramas, Channel V re-invented its appeal and gave some kick - ass shows. So we would like to know from our readers which show they really want to make a comeback with a season 2. Which show is still fresh in your minds. Don't forget to vote...let your votes be known to the creative head of the channel so they can think about it seriously.

1. D3 - Dil Dosti Dance

This show needs no introduction. The first TV show that was based on dance catapulted to popularity in Youth Masses. Actors and dancers Kunwar Amar, Shakti Mohan, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vrushika Mehta overnight sensations.

2. Paanch

A young girl takes up a challenge to take down five evil college students who ragged and killed her elder sister. The show was very well received - Sheetal Singh and Rashi Mal are still known for their portrayals of Roshni and Gauri. The news for season 2 had been in the loop for long but it didn't really shape up.

3. The Buddy Project.

A youth show based on school buddies and their real life situations. The show was well received and went onto become the channel's driver once.

4. Friends Conditions Apply

The show which didn't even get an end. How harsh it is ! Despite the show's commercial failure, there's no doubt that the gripping storyline of the show was indeed intriguing and had an amazing concept. Channel V did take the risk to make a show that can match International standards and succeeded partially.

5. Million Dollar Girl.

The show never picked up from day one, however It did have a nice concept. Would you like to witness the story again?

6. Surveen Guggal

This was also one of the successful series. The show revolved around a student Surveen and her struggles. The show is also noted for giving a makeover to Smriti Kalra .

Which long running show should face the axe?

The functioning on Indian Television has seen a radical change since few years. These days, survival has become everything. Either you stay or disappear. We are talking about 'ratings' here. Ratings now decide a show's fate. Within 2 or 3 months, a show's fate is sealed. If it's accepted it shall run until it breathe past its efficiency or not accepted, it shall bite the dust. Even the topmost TV production house like 'Balaji' had to see its aspiring show 'Darmiyaan' crashing right in front of their faces in just two months. It failed to garner the right response for the channel and hence about to be taken off air. But there are still some TV shows that have been running strongly on ratings and adding fuel to channel. But what about the quality? The amount of absurdity being poured in these daily dramas with unnecessary tracks, constant melodrama and fake situations. It's a wonder how people really go on to tolerate such shows for so many years. Perhaps a scarcity for entertainment ? Let's mention few shows that have been running unnecessarily and high time should be closed down. We want to know from our readers, about the show they feel should come to an end.

1. Qubool hai

2. Ballika Vadhu

3. Sasural Simar Ka

4. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

5. Saath Nibhana Saathiya

6. Diya aur Baati Hum

Sushant Singh breaks off with YRF !

Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput has decided to cut off all professional ties with India's biggest production house, Yash Raj Films.

The actor has worked earlier in 'Shuddh Desi Romance' and 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!'.  The reason why things turned sour between Sushant Singh and YRF, goes way back to the time when the actor was supposed to play the lead role in Shekhar Kapoor's dream project 'Paani', which had to be postponed as YRF backed out from producing it and the director had to start his search from scratch, this time for international buyers for the film, since 'Paani' involves huge money.
Due to the dates clashing with his YRF project, the actor had earlier had to let go off Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-leela', which went on to Ranveer Singh.

What seemed like the crumbling point is that Aditya Chopra had promised Sushant the lead role in his much talked about project 'Befikre', but apparently the role has been bagged by Ranveer Singh. Sushant, however, claims to be clueless about it!
"Adi had promised Sushant 'Befikre' and then gave it to Ranveer without informing the SDR actor. This upset him and he decided not to associate with YRF anymore," revealed an insider, according to reports in a leading daily.

"Sushant is no longer a part of our talent team. We wish him all the best in future endeavours," confirmed a YRF spokesperson, with the leading daily.

Stand up Comedians that made their way into our hearts and lost somewhere

Stand-up is a simple business – just a man or a woman with a microphone and something funny to say. Is that as simple as we say it? I have often heard that this job is the hardest in the world, not because they have to do the job of Barack Obama or Narendra Modi, but this is considered as the most difficult of the performance arts. Why? Because with comedy, people know what they like. Nobody in history has ever walked out of a stand-up show saying, “That guy was hilarious, but I didn’t laugh.”
The modern stand-up scene in India is only six years old, so comics and audiences are learning together. But this doesn’t mean that crowds don’t know what they like ‐ that comes naturally. Comedy speaks; humor listens. However, the scene in India vs. America is night and day ‐ and that’s not just because of the time difference. AM I RIGHT, PEOPLE?!
Lets take a look at the the stand-up comedians who were once heartthrob of the India.
1. Raju Shrivastav

Raju Shrivastav often credited as Gajodhar, came into limelight because of the comedy talent show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” where he finished as runner-up. He was a participant in “Big Boss season 3”. Later news came that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party fielded Srivastava from Kanpur in the 2014 Lok Sabha election. But Raju returned the ticket, saying he was not getting enough support from the local units of the party. After that he joined “Bharatiya Janata Party”.
2. Sunil Pal
Sunil Pal a former Tea Vendor from Santa Cruz came to stardom when he won the “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” in 2005. Lately he has been seen acting in many bollywood flicks doing minor roles. In 2010, he also wrote and directed a comedy film Bhavnao Ko Samjho, which featured a record 51 stand-up comedians. Last he appeared in “Kick” as a cameo with Salman Khan.
3. Ahsaan Qureshi
Ahsaan Qureshi has been a stage performer in last 20 years. He was the runner up for “The Great Indian Laughter challenge” in 2005. Most of Jokes are focussed on political satire and social issues. He has been seen acting in Bollywood movies for instance Bombay to Goa, Ek Paheli Leela. Qureshi was also contestant for “Bigg Boss -season 2”. Lately news came that he has participated election campaigns in Uttar-Pradesh.
4. Navin Prabhakar
Navin Prabhakar a commerce graduate, singer, actor and stand-up comedian is most known for his Pehchan Kaun (Mumbai bar girl) act on “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”. Subsequently he also hosted a mimicry and stand-up show “Hello Kaun? Pehchaan Kaun”. He has done voiceover for famous song Dhagala lagli kala. Last he was seen in Phata Poster Nikla Hero starring Shahid Kapoor.
5. Sudesh Lehri
Sudesh Lehri is an Indian stand-up comedian, film and television actor. He participated in the 2007 comedy show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3.” He was second runner up in the show after Kapil sharma and Chandan Prabhakar.
