Karan Kundra who is now serving MTV's popular reality show Roadies as a Judge seems to be enjoying his stint. In the second season he is back as the Judge to give a new life to the show. However, Karan's first stint with reality shows began with Gumrah where he served as a host. Gumrah is a popular reality based show that features teens committing crime out of innocence. Karan gave the show the status and the popularity which no one else could. Karan's charm still continues to woo his audiences who often demands his comeback. Though he was seen hosting MTV Webbed but his stint in Gumrah brought him in high demand. While already Juggling between two soaps, one fiction and one reality Karan seems to be tasting a tough snack but that's an actor's job. However wouldn't be really amazing if Karan makes a comeback in Gumrah. What do our readers think. Should Karan comeback in Gumrah as a Host or not. Would you like to see him again. Vote now

Serial of the Week : Ek Duje Ke Vaaste
This week's our Pick Is Sony TV's Ek Duje Ek Vaaste. The show started a couple of weeks back is engaging people's eyeballs with its simple and sweet story yet told in an extraordinary manner. Once childhood friends [Suman (Nikita Dutta) and Shravan (Naman Paul)] are no longer friends. An incident in childhood left their paths dry and separated them apart. Many years later they come face to face with different situations, circumstances and realize they are unlike their childhood parts - Suman is now a responsible girl who's in debt while Shravan has evolved into a young handsome angry suave lawyer who has still not forgiven Suman. Sparks fly between them but there's a lot of discomfort also. How are they going to come together realizing their weaknesses and become one strength is the baseline of the show.'
Exclusive : Here's the theme/title song of EDKV shared by Namik Paul Himself
EDKV -- Title Track
Highlight of this week.
Shravan Insults Suman in the party and after confronting her Insults her again badly.
Suman is terribly hurt by all this. It's hard for her to Imagine that Shravan who was once her best has turned out to be such a vengeful creature.
Suman loses her control and meets with an accident. Luckily, she is saved by some kind fellows along the street.
Suman's relatives misses the flight and Suman's declared Guilty of all.
Shravan's Brother confronts him about last night and tells him he just love himself only.
Shravan and Sumo meets again at a bus stand. Some goons try to tease Sumo. Shravan doesn't come forward to help.
Sumo's caterer girls come out to help. The overweight friend shouts at being Shravan for being irresponsible.
Sumo loses the money she got for her aunt. She realizes she lost her wallet at the bus stop. She reaches there but could not find it. Shravan instead picks up her wallet and returns to her Aunt. There he also comes to know about her problems.
Shravan decides to lend Suman the money which she has to pay her aunt. Suman is unwilling to accept but her Aunt takes it. Sumo is hurt that Shravan has hurt her self respect.
Suman returns the favour to Shravan by giving her jewellery which is her most prized possession. Seeing the jewellery, Shravan gets deeply hurt and remains stunned for a while.
We must say that the show has taken a wonderful start much better than what its promos had predicted and even better than the other newly launched show on Sony. hence we only wish the show reaches new heights with commercial and critical success.

6 Reasons why we still miss Channel v's Paanch
5 Reasons why we still miss Channel V's Paanch 5 Wrongs Make a Right.
Channel V is not the same anymore. Gone are the days when good shows used to air back to back. Paanch, Sadda Haq, O Gujariya, Jhalli Anjali, Confessions, and It's complicated. Channel V was a complete youthful show then. While Sadda Haq still has been entertaining its audience since long. The channel as a whole is running out of steam. The new shows that are mostly based on Romance and relationships do not really make us feel gaga over them. We miss the concept based shows on V that made it stand out from the crowd. Such a show was Paanch 5 Wrongs Make a Right. This show was an exception in terms of Television viewership. We give out 6 reasons that are enough to miss this amazing show and pray for its sequel.
1. Concept
Paanch had an appealing concept of 'Ragging'. Bullying is something everyone faces in life especially in Youthful times when we are surrounded with friends and circles. And sometimes it gets out of hand and take a toll on people's lives. Perhaps the first show that targeted especially on Ragging and the Channel team deserves an applause for it alone.
2. Strong Appeal
The show had a strong appeal of Revenge and Justice. The promos of the show were packed with Adrenaline making sure we have to go for it. The packaging of the show was indeed enticing and carved enough for a great entertainment value. There were no doubts.
3. Strong Cast
The show carried a bunch of Youngsters and it was a risk involving them in a show that required histrionics. Gladly almost everyone lived up to the expectations. Kiran Srinivas as the druggie was excellent and scared the hell out of us. Ronjini Chakraborty's Zara Ahmed Khan used to spill out 'Read My Lips' after every line of the corner was very amusing. Ditto for Shrey Pareek and Aashish Mehrotra who played Nihal and Yudi respectively. Of Course ! Not to forget Sheetal Singh who gave life to 'Roshni Kataria's character and became a role model for every girl standing up for Justice. A Special mention to Pratap Hada who played Gautam Laada in the most creepiest way possible.
However, It's the performance of Rashi Mal who played Gauri Laada in the most that still gives us goosebumps and the strongest reason to miss this show. She was absolutely brilliant. Perhaps, it was the first time that a Villainous character received so much of applause on TV. Indeed Gauri's character was physically demanding and challenging and any actress (Yes ! we are saying so) from today would have messed it up. Kudos to the casting team here. Rashi got the character so right that a never ending Impression has been left on everyone who watched her perform. It's both wonderful and scary for her. Scary is for the reason that she might have to look for a character where she can literary match up her skills with or go beyond Gauri to maintain that Impression.
4. Wednesdays and Thursdays aren't the same anymore :
Paanch gave us a reason to enjoy Wednesday Thursday, the two weekly days which aren't mostly fun. The feeling to just wait for the show used to annoy but also cheer us when the clock hits 6 pm. And we could enjoy the show. beaming updates on Social Media non stop. Sadly, those times are gone just like childhood memories and we miss it dearly.
5. Youth Issues :
The show besides dealing with ragging also dealt with a lot of Youth Issues like Drugs, MMS, Teen Sex, Smoking etc. The show also had some disturbing sequences which are not really suitable for younger audiences. The tone of the show went a little dark regarding showing the female lead plotted to be killed a couple of times. But these are few minor hiccups. The issues only sensationalized the show and made sure it hooks the viewership intact.
6. Dearth of Good Youthful shows :
This one we already said it, Paanch was a critical and commercial success. and that too as a biweekly finite series, this does prove that audiences are in to watch good content if given a chance. Despite a few shows, There isn't any content on Television. and Considering the current state of Television where Witches, Snakes are ruling it, Hoping for a good TV show is just about a miracle on can ask for.
That's it from our side. If you have something to tell us or contribute about your favourite show. Please write to us on youthtvindia@gmail.com who knows your story gets published in our next post. Keep Enjoying !

Urmila Matondkar spotted in Kashmir with Beau
A few days ago, Urmila Matondkar took everyone to surprise with her hush hush marriage with Kashmir based model-turned-businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir. As it was a private wedding, not many from the industry made it to the wedding except for celebrated designer Manish Malhotra.
Although, Urmila is not in the news for quite a long time, the actress made headlines with her secret marriage. Now, the actress was spotted in Kashmir with her hubby Mohsin. The couple is spending some alone time at the renowned location of Mughal Gardens in Kashmir. Apparently, the two have been staying on a boathouse at Dal Lake.
We wish Urmila and her beau some great time in the Valley.

Sidharth Malhotra got into an UGLY fight with Alia Bhatt’s ex-boyfriend?
If the recent reports are anything to go by, then all’s not well between Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. In a sudden turn of events, Alia’s ex boyfriend Ali Dadarkar has come back in picture, creating differences between Alia and Sid. Yes! According to an online portal, Ali was getting over-friendly with Alia at a recent party following which Sid intervened and gave him a earful. In fact, the matters got so worse that Sid and Ali were almost on the verge of hitting each other when Alia came in between and dragged Sid out from the spot. Whoa! Now that’s like one super filmy incident?
We hear this fall out took place during a school reunioun that was held recently. Alia attended the bash along with Sid, who for all that we know is her current boyfriend. But much did they expect things would go so out of control and Alia would end up having a tiff with Sid for a certain ex who doesn’t even matter in her life right now. I know you’re dying out of curiosity to know who is Ali and what does he do? Well, don’t worry! We researched a little for you and figured out that he was dating Alia while they were in school and is now based out in London. Not much details about him is available on the internet but if at all this whole fuss about he bumping into Sid is true then boy, it’s quite surprising.
Nevertheless, we really doubt if this ex’s fight in return is creating differences between Alia and Sid, given that they look pretty sorted that ways.

OMG!! KRK swears to beat Sidharth Malhotra black and blue
OMG!! KRK swears to beat Sidharth Malhotra black and blue
Sidharth Malhotra's befitted comments to KRK for his comments on Alia Bhatt's bikini shoot didn't go well with him. Here is how he reacted.
Controversy’s favourite child Kamaal Rashid Khan knows how to stay in limelight all the times. Be it his sleazy comments on some bollywood actress or his reviews on films, he ensures to grab headlines every time. This time again, the self-claimed-to-fame star attracted wrath of Sidharth Malhotra after passing some shady comments on Alia Bhatt’s bikini shoot for Vogue cover. Looks like, KRK didn’t have enough and needs more from the media this time.Sidharth’s reply to KRK on his comment on Alia Bhatt didn’t go well with the latter. It seems he is in no mood to let go the Kapoor & Sons actor easy way at least this time. Adding spark to the already heated argument, the Deshdrohi actor stated that he can easily hire manager like Sidharth and that too 15 like him.
In an interaction with a leading daily, Kamaal R Khan lashed out at the B-town hottie saying that he has no existence at all. “Sidharth is a non-entity. Uski itni badi aukat nahin hai ki KRK usko pictures bheje. He’s on my contact list and I may have sent my film reviews to him, but nothing else. And I dare him to show any picture sent by me. It would certainly be there in his chat history,” said KRK.
He was so irked with the Student Of The year actor that he couldn’t withhold his anger. He further added, “He was miffed because I made a comment on Alia Bhatt’s picture in a bikini. Since Alia is like a daughter to me, I just said that she was looking childish in a bikini and she must not wear it. That bugged Sidharth. I know people do get carried away in love. But, one must not go mad.”
Well, we wonder if someone makes such statement on any lady, whom they consider as their daughter. KRK, you need to think twice before making such declaration in front of the media. Co-incidentally, KRK had a pivotal role in Sidharth’s blockbuster Ek Villain, which also turned out to be an important film for their careers. While Sidharth’s tough side as an actor was revealed, KRK got a chance to revive his acting career once again. However, KRK also mentioned that, “I have better things to do than morph the pictures and send them to losers like Sidharth. I have 13 business ventures and I can hire 15 managers like Sidharth Malhotra. I can assure you after three movies, Sidharth will become like Jimmy Shergill. I kept quiet till now because I respect and adore his mentor Karan Johar. But I’m so angry with Sidharth’s silly comments that I have sent a message to KJO and told him that I will beat his protege black and blue if he rubs me the wrong way one more time.”
Well, we wonder if KJo has enough time to answer calls or revert to messages from none other than KRK. What do you think guys? Is KRK upto something big now?
